Events, trips and more undertaken by Tommmy's Lounge
Tommy’s Lounge CiC is a self funded, not for profit, safe space for all. Especially those with a military connection (Veterans and their Families). Suicide rates amongst veterans is considerably higher than their civilian counterparts, and we work tirelessly to provide peer to peer support, work shops, gatherings, days out etc away from alcohol and drugs!
Please help us continue to save lives on a daily basis!
Tommy's Lounge, as a CiC and signatory of the Armed Forces Covenant undertakes projects to help Veterans within the community and also the wider Huddersfield community itself.
From trips to major events, representing veterans by attending meetings with the Prime Minister and Veterans Affairs Minister to small CPR training sessions to ensure that Huddersfield residents know what to do in an emergency and how to use a difribulator.
Tommy's Lounge hosts free small group sessions for CPR training and Defibrillator training to the local community and veterans alike.
Follow our Facebook Page to see when the next session is happening and to sign up.

With community being at the heart of Tommy's Lounge we are proud to hold a signed rugby shirt from our local team which is from a memorial match to honour a local warrior who paid the ultimate sacrifice in Afghanistan, Pte Tom Wroe.
On the anniversary of his passing Tommy's will pause to remember him.
One big family collected for the homeless Veterans in Huddersfield, we will be supporting them throughout the year.
Every Monday they go out with shopping trolleys with food, clothing, bedding, pet food. Tommy's will regularly donate to them.
Part of our pay it forward system is to also help Veterans in the streets have something warm to eat and drink.
We have hosted the RNA Veteran Riders on a couple of visits to Tommy's Lounge. In the future we hope to become a regular stop for the RNA riders whilst in the Huddersfield area.
If you are part of a veteran biker group who would like to visit Tommy's Lounge on a ride-out please get in touch via email for the T&C's for groups.
Tommy's Lounge was invited by local MP Mr Mark Eastwood to talk to the Prime Minister and Veteran Affairs Minister at Downing Street to discuss how government can better support veterans in the future.
